Winter
Winter is a time of revitalization. After months of no rainfall every summer and fall, winter brings the rain to fill our reservoirs and waterfalls and gives much needed moisture to the natural vegetation. Not to mention snow in the Sierras to open up ski resorts!
In Marin our rainfall can vary from less than 25"/yr in dry years to well over 50" in wet years. As you can see, once in a while we get the gift of snow on Mt Tamalpais.
